SAS Now Offering Business Class Flights to Los Angeles & Miami

Starting in 2016, Stockholm based Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will begin offering business class flights to the US. These will include three new nonstop routes. The first is Stockholm (Arlanda) to Los Angeles, then Oslo to Miami, and finally Copenhagen to Miami. Additionally, SAS will also increase the number of flights heading from Stockholm's Arlanda Airport to New York's JFK Airport; Chicago's O'hare is also on that list. Finally, they will also be increasing the amount of departures from Copenhagen to Shanghai.

So in other words, starting in 2016 SAS will begin offering 330,000 more seats across its intercontinental routes. March 14 2016, is the start date for the route between Stockholm and Los Angeles. In the beginning, SAS will be offering daily flights through the summer season.  Scandinavia will begin flights to Miami in Fall, 2016 with the plan of having a flight every single day.

Stockholm Arlanda - LAX Timetable

Departs from Arlanda (SK933) daily at 09:50am and arrives in Los Angeles at 12:15am (next day).

Copenhagen - Miami Timetable

Departs from Copenhagen (SK953) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 09:30 and arrives in Miami at 13:50.

Departs from Miami (SK954) on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 15:50 and arrives in Copenhagen at 07:10.

Oslo - Miami Timetable

Departs from Oslo (SK955) on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at 09:35 and arrives in Miami at 13:50.

Departs from Miami (SK956) on Saturdays, Mondays, and Thursdays at 15:50 and arrives in Oslo at 07:05.

Flights between Stockholm and Hong Kong will also start increasing from next month, September 2015. To recap, Stockholm-based Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will be adding business class flights to the US beginning in the first quarter of 2016. Los Angeles will be the first to receive service from Stockholm, followed by flights from Oslo and Copenhagen to Miami later in the fall. On top of this, they will also increase flights that are considered long-haul, such as between Copenhagen and Shanghai.
