Japan Airlines Introduces First Class Flights from Sydney-Tokyo On Boeing 777-300ER

Starting this October on the 25th Japan Airline's Sydney-Tokyo flights will be flown on their flagship, Boeing 777-300ER. First class flight suites on the route will be sold in addition to their current Sky Suite business class seats and free Internet will be featured in flight. Japan's flag-carrying airline made the decision to introduce first class flights and trade up from its previous Boeing 777-200ER on the route due to a steady increase in demand.

There are a total of eight first class seats available on the aircraft. These suites however should not be compared to the private cabins that are fully enclosed on either the Singapore or the Emirates Airlines. These suites are more similar to the mini-suites found in the fuselage of British Airways or Qantas, even though they are referred to as the JAL Suite.

These suites however do come with all the modern conveniences that First Class travelers have come to expect, including flat screen televisions at a sizable 23 inches. A two meter bed that can be converted from the 83 cm wide seat. There is also no need to juggle dinnerware and a laptop as a spacious table has been provided. You'll have plenty of room to store your belongings on-board.

Additionally, there are 49 so-called Sky Suites that are business class seats surrounded by a cubicle for privacy. These seats transform into flat beds with a width that varies from 53 cm at the base to 65 cm where you need it the most. From the tip of your toes to the top of your hair, there is 1.88 meters to stretch out on.

Each of these cubicles has comparable offerings with the inclusion of a 23 inch monitor. To make sure that all passengers have easy access to the aisle despite the 2-3-2 seat layout, engineers at Japanese Airlines have staggered the seats. If couples want to share a toast during the flight, they can simply open the privacy screen even though they won't exactly be sitting together. We like that there is enough room to store carry on baggage. Also the fact that both first class and business class passengers have free and unlimited wireless Internet.

Speaking of having internet access, since you've found your way here you may as well give one of our agents a call to help you find what first class or business class flight would be best for you. We guarantee the lowest prices and are certain we can get you the flight you're looking for.
