With more than 11,000 vendors, shoppers can find everything from electronics and furniture, to food, clothing, and books.

Bangkok is also Thailand’s main business hub, with its economy based largely on retail and wholesale trade, automobile manufacturing, and tourism. The city is home to most of Thailand’s large banks and corporations. Thailand’s tallest building, King Power Mahanakhon (1,031 feet), is located in Bangkok.
