Business class flights to Seoul arrive at one of the city’s two international airports. Incheon International Airport (ICN) is the largest airport in South Korea. It is located in Seoul, just west of the city center. Incheon International Airport serves more than 71 million passengers each year and is a hub for several Asian air carriers including Air Incheon, Air Seoul, Korean Air, Jin Air, and Asiana Airlines.

Passengers who book flights to Seoul’s Incheon Airport can take advantage of its many amenities, which include an onsite golf course, a casino, a spa, indoor botanical gardens, an ice skating rink, a large duty-free shopping center, and a museum.

Seoul’s second airport, Gimpo International Airport (GMP), is located 9 miles west of the central part of the city, near the Seoul suburb of Gimpo. Older than Incheon International Airport, Gimpo Airport serves more than 25 million passengers annually.

Travelers who book tickets to Seoul and arrive at either Incheon International Airport or Gimpo International Airport will find fast and convenient public transportation available from either airport into the city. Seoul’s subway system maintains stations at both airports, making traveling a breeze. Ground transportation from both airports is also available by bus.

Those looking for cheap flights to Seoul should check flights arriving at both of the city’s airports to find the best price, as different airlines will offer different deals throughout the year.

Many of the people who book flights to Seoul are business travelers. The city is home to several multinational financial and insurance companies. It is also a major center for the research, development, and manufacture of consumer electronics. Companies such as Samsung Group and LG Corp. are headquartered in the city. Automobile manufacturing is also one of Seoul’s largest industries, and the city is home to plants that manufacture vehicles for both KIA and Hyundai.

More than just for business, thousands of tourists also book tickets to Seoul each year. Many visitors to the city come to shop. Located in the downtown, the Myeongdong shopping and entertainment district is home to several high-end fashion boutiques. Those looking to shop for electronics often visit the city’s Yongsan Electronics Market, which is the largest shopping district of its kind in all of Asia. Handmade goods, artwork, craft items, and antiques can be purchased at the city’s Insadong Cultural Art Market, Hwanghak Dong Flea Market, and Janganpyeong Antique Market.

Places of interest to travelers who book flights to Seoul include both historic and modern sites. Contemporary super skyscrapers such as the 155-story Lotte World Tower sit alongside historic buildings such as the Five Grand Palaces built in the 14th century as residences for members of the Joseon Dynasty. The five palaces are open to the public as museums and are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The city is also home to more than 100 museums, several historic religious monuments, and large parks that are popular with visitors.

Notable people from Seoul include actor Steven Yeun, who appeared in The Walking Dead television series and other shows; the rap artist RM; South Korean K-drama star Lee Dong-wook; and K-pop singer G-Dragon.
