Cheap Business Class Flights to Myanmar

One of the best kept secrets in Asia, there are many reasons why travelers from around the world book flights to Myanmar every year. Officially called Burma until 1989, the country of Myanmar is located in Southeast Asia in an area known as the Indochinese Peninsula. Myanmar has a population of approximately 60 million people, most of whom live in its cities. The country shares its borders with ChinaIndiaBangladeshLaos, and Thailand

Most international flights to Myanmar, including flights to Myanmar from the US, arrive at Yangon International Airport (RGN). (This airport is also sometimes called Mingaladon Airport due to its location in the city of Mingaladon.) Yangon International Airport is the country’s largest airport by both size and passenger volume. It serves as the hub for Myanmar National Airlines, Myanmar Airways International, and Air KBZ.

Bus service to and from the Yangon Central Railway Station is available for passengers arriving at and departing from Yangon International Airport. Trains departing from the station offer stops in several locations in and around Mingaladon.

Flights to Myanmar can also be booked to arrive at one of the country’s other international airports, of which there are currently two. These include Mandalay International Airport (MDL) and Nay Pyi Taw International Airport (NYT). A fourth international airport is now under construction in the city of Bago, Myanmar, about 50 miles from Yangon International Airport. Once it has opened, the new airport will be named Hanthawaddy International Airport.

Cheap flights to Myanmar should be easier to find once Hanthawaddy International Airport is up and running.

Travelers who book tickets to Myanmar often come to the country because of its diverse ethnic makeup and unique culture. Myanmar’s culture reflects those of the countries that surround it. It has also been strongly influenced by the Buddhist religion, which the majority of the population of Myanmar follows. Several languages, including Burmese, Chin, Kachin, Karen, Kayah, Mon, Rakhine, and Shan are spoken in Myanmar.

The country’s wide-ranging culture is reflected in its holidays and festivals. Some of Myanmar’s most popular events are its pagoda festivals, which celebrate important occurrences in the history of the country’s pagodas, which serve as the center of religious life. The dates of pagoda festivals are dictated by a religious calendar and can vary from location to location.

Myanmar’s cuisine, often called Burmese cuisine, is also unique. Because of the county’s location on the Bay of Bengal, many of the traditional dishes served in its coastal areas include seafood, which is sometimes eaten fresh but is also commonly fermented or dried. Further inland, dishes made with various types of fresh water fish, shellfish, and chicken are more common. Vegetarian dishes that include rice and several types of noodles are found throughout the country.

Most visitors book tickets to Myanmar to experience the culture of the country’s cities, to relax at its beach resorts, or to enjoy its natural beauty. Religious tourists also make up a large percentage of the country’s annual visitors.

There are many other reasons why travelers love to fly first class to Myanmar. One of the main motivations for many of the religious tourists is the breathtaking temples that are spread throughout the country. One of the top tourist experiences according to many is taking a hot air balloon over Bagan.

Another reason potential visitors are looking for cheap tickets to Myanmar is because of the stunning scenery. A country overflowing with natural beauty, including gorgeous beaches and incredible waterways, there are many idyllic locations for amateur and professional photographers to practice their craft.

And if you’re up for it, there are many climbing opportunities throughout the nation as well. Myanmar features several mountain ranges, including Bago Yoma, Shan Hills, Tenasserim Hills, and Rakhine Yoma. The tallest mountain in South East Asia, Hkakabo Razi, is part of the Himalayas range and wasn’t successfully scaled until 1996.

The opportunity to see some of the most beautiful creatures in the world in their natural habitat is enough reason to book a flight to Myanmar. Myanmar is also home to several national parks and wildlife sanctuaries that are spread out across the country. These locations are home to a large number of animals such as tigers, elephants, leopards, and many more.
