Boeing 787-9 Business Class Upgrades

Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Business Class Flights

If you're in the market for business class flights, you'll be delighted to know that KLM's Royal Dutch Airlines will begin flying the first of 10 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners starting this October. This airliner features the new World Business class seats. Whereas traditional airline seats don't lie fully-flat, on this business class flight you can expect a chair that does. With 1-2-1 layout so that every passenger is only one step away from the aisle, a large storage area, and a 16" HD Video Screen.

The fact of the matter is, if you're on a business class flight (and especially if you're going quite the distance) you want to travel in comfort. And now with Boeing's new 787-9's Dreamliner, you can travel in style too. Accordinging to Boeing's approach for design:

"The design of the interior of the aircraft creates a typically KLM mood, layout and character onboard the Boeing 787-9"

..and

"The point of departure for the cabin interior was to maximise comfort and privacy for passengers, while maintaining KLM’s brand values."

In addition to the new business class upgrades, economy seats have also been upgraded and said to be able to recline more than 40% than their current counterparts. Additionally, they feature an 11" touchscreen and USB-ready outlet.

The launch date is penciled in for October 25th from Amsterdam to Abu Dhabi and onwards to Bahrain. More runs are noted to take place in November and early 2016 as well. Of course the best way to check-out these new seats is to experience them for yourself.
