This unique ticket gives passengers a roomy suite with three spacious rooms. The suite is tucked into the top level of this double-decker aircraft, so luxury passengers are separated from the rest.

Competing airlines are responding to this by changing their luxury options to try and match Etihad. Emirates is making plans to add bedrooms to first class flight accommodations. While these may sound pretty plush, James Hogan (Etihad's CEO) is simply not worried about making any additions to his company's Residence option. He says there is nothing else like Residence, as this luxury option is much more lavish than any other out there.
