Air New Zealand has officially announced something special for their very own New Zealand small to mid size Businesses. Essentially, Airpoints for Business allows a company’s individual travelers to continue accruing Airpoints Dollars and Status Points at the full and usual rates, while at the same time rewarding the business with its own pool of Airpoints Dollars. So Basically, You earn 100% of your Airpoints you're eligible for, but in addition Your Business also earns an additional 20% of points on business travel that can be used to fly either yourself or any of your employees that are associated with the business.

If a business class traveler earned themselves 100 points, the business would also earn an additional 20 points which can later be used for different types of business class flights.

Airpoints Dollars via the Airpoints for Business program are also eligible to be earned on Virgin Australia domestic flights within Australia and across the Tasman when the itinerary was booked in New Zealand on an Air New Zealand ticket and with an NZ flight number.

Additionally, members can also earn Airpoints Dollars for their business with Cathay Pacific flights between Auckland and Hong Kong under the same criteria and with other partners on the ground including Westpac New Zealand, Z, Mitre 10, Umbrellar, Avis and Budget.

*Airpoints for Business will not be earned for partnering airlines if their tickets were not booked in New Zealand. I.E. If you booked your business class flights in Australia, they would not be eligible.

and

“Airpoints for Business provides a platform for us to work more closely with business owners, many of whom are either travelling themselves or have employees travelling for work,” he added.
